Meet Annaliese and Stephen
Welcome to Totara House in picturesque Puhoi! Your hosts, Annaliese and Stephen, are passionate about creating a serene retreat for all who visit. Their stunning non toxic home, crafted from beautiful Totara wood, recycled native timbers and windows in a style in keeping with the historic village, surrounded by a vibrant garden that reflects their love for nature.
Annaliese is a Reiki Master Teacher and an avid gardener, dedicating her time to nurturing both plants and people. With her background as a New Zealand tour guide, she delights in sharing the local flora and fauna, as well as the rich history of Puhoi.
Stephen, a talented landscape designer, together, have created the gardens of Totara house for over 30years, which they enjoy sharing, and foster an environment of relaxation and creativity, making Totara House and Kauri cottage the perfect getaway.
